Book Review: Seek and Hide by Amanda G. Stevens

Seek and Hide: A Novel (Haven Seekers Book 1) by Amanda G. Stevens

Imagine living in a time where the only Bibles you can have are the ones that are rewritten by the government.   That you are considered evil if you have one and then imprisoned until you are rehabilitated.

Aubrey had been through the prison time and had told the officials she is no longer a believer so that she would be able to have her son to hold again.  She has finally passed their inspection and she is out of the prison holding her baby with all her might.   Then the evil forces come against once more and take the baby again. She finds herself desperately seeking God.   Will he listen to someone who has denied him?

Marcus feels it's his duty to help Aubrey and promises her he will find the baby for her.  Not sure how he will get it accomplished he leans on God more to help him.

My own thoughts:

What an action pack thought provoking book!    I loved how the author Amanda Stevens makes you feel your right there where the action was taking place.  With the great writing you felt the moments of  fear, joy, love, goodwill of man, and the hope to make things right in a world that has turned upside down for Christian's.

This book made me realize that we need to make sure we stand up for our rights and how easily they could be taken from us.   It's hard to imagine something so precious as our Bible  being taken away from each of us.  The author also made me think, could I withstand the injustices and stand up for God no matter what evil forces may do?

A great suspenseful, Christian romance book that I know you will enjoy!

I was given a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
