My Goals for this Week 9/21/15

Beautiful Grandbaby ready for a nap!  -Vickie's Kitchen and Garden


I've been exercising by walking the beautiful grandbaby for her naps. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. This morning it did! You can tell she was tired by the way her leg was propped up on the tray and she is not smiling. Saves gas on taking her for a car ride too!  



Pumpkin Spice Mix -Vickie's Kitchen and Garden


I was only able to make up one Spice mix this last week.   It really didn't take but just a few minutes. I just take my recipe for the spice mix double or triple it and put it in a jar.   Usually will last me quite awhile.




Here is what I managed to get done this week:


Write a book review.  You can see that here. 

Write another guest post- working on this now!  I have to take pictures and then I'm through.  (this is my main goal this week!)! 

Harvest Mustard Greens and can them towards the later part of the week.

Clean silver ware drawer


Make up spice mixes that are getting low.  Cooler weather has brought my cooking indoors.  I made up pumpkin spice mix this morning (love it in my oatmeal)

Exercise in some form -yoga or walking as much as possible. I managed to do this 5 times last week!   I'm not going to set a number I think just make sure I exercise as much as my schedule will allow.    Last week it was mostly in the form of walking with the baby in the stroller need to kick it up a notch this week.

Earn at least 15 Swagbucks a day.  Since I've been doing this I've earned three $5.00 gift cards!  Many times I just earn this by searching.

On back on my diet plan (Trim Healthy Mama).   I'm working on this every day.   I'm not perfect but I keep trying!  and trying!  

Read the Bible more. 



Here is what I hope to accomplish this week:

Office Work

Write a book review.

Write another guest post- working on this now!  I have to take pictures and then I'm through.

Kitchen and Garden Work:

Mustard Greens in the Garden-Vickie's Kitchen and Garden

Continue to harvest Mustard Greens and can them towards the later part of the week. I canned 7 quarts (2 bushels) and would like to can another 7 this week.

Plant tulip bulbs that I purchased.

Make up spice mixes that are getting low.  Cooler weather has brought my cooking indoors.   I need to make up chili seasoning next week.

Harvest rosemary and thyme.  I believe I overplanted my burlap bag but there is still some to harvest and dry.  One plant would have been plenty.

Personal Goals
